Hi,

I have been asked to put a 98 UK engine into a 93 WRX, but the owner said the place he got the engine from told him the Inlet will need to be changed as the early ECU will not run the ICV or TPS from the later manifold?


Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Just swap everything from the 93 engine over, the basic engine will fit ok but the inlet etc needs swapping over from the 93 engine
