Default intercooler pipes

i have recently done reverse manifold on my classic and flipped front mount so pipes come under headlights, my question is can i fabricate my boost pipes out of stainless as my mate makes exhausts so cost to me would be very little?
i know aluminium disapates heat better but on other hand stainless takes longer to absorb the heat but also holds heat longer.

any advice thanks

Plenty of people use stainless for intercooler pipes.

Bonus if you can do it for little cost IMO.
