was bored today so broke out the grinder and welder and decatted my 93 wrx.what a differance it has made.only took the innards out of the standard downpipe and turbo spools up so much faster and not thrown a cel up.nice to have pops and bangs back again.

 

No remap to go with it then?

 

unlike the later scoobs most early ones can run a decat without any problems.my last scoob ran sweet as a nut without one.running standard boost as well so not really pushing the engine.

 

Will it cause over boost?

 

Not had any problems and running lovely.car only has walbro,induction and exhaust so only running about 260 ish.will get the afr checked on rollers in next few days to double check not running lean.buying ecu and few bits now anyway for new engine build so if needs be can get it mapped.
