Hello all.

I noticed I was running a little low on oil a few months back, was told the dealer used shell helix 5/30 semi so stuck some off that in there, had to phone dealer today to price up a part and asked about the oil again just to be sure, he said they use 10/40 shell helix semi?

Now I am pretty confused!!! Not hard!!! Oil service is due in July and it's been like this for around, maybe just over 1k and been mapped.

Any problems mixing grades not brands, not noticed any problems although I don't have oil tempature gauge.

Can it wait until July? Car is a daily drive.
