If you are talking actual jdm wrx models then the 96 wrx has 260ps and the 2000 wrx will be approx 280ps
Remember wrx models have more hp than uk turbo 2000 in classic form

If WRX produces that power what would STI have?

Officialy they would both have the same power due to the gentleman's agreement that japanese car manufacturers had with the government.
