Default 6 speed gear oil

Hi all,
Have just fitted an early JDM 6 speed box & diff to my 96 STI,and I'm not sure what oils to use. Any recommendations appreciated.

Opie oils sell http://www.redlineoil.com/product.aspx?pid=43&pcid=8 its expensive but the best

I'm using it in my classic and I know a couple of high power cars that run it

Kaos Jnr has a very good point about the Shockproof, it's top quality stuff. There are other very good ones like the Redline Gear 300, Millers CRX NT, Redline 75w-90 NS and Gulf Competition that are also worth considering.

Are these all OK for a six speed box & R diff?
