I will be fitting my de cat up pipe in the next week, so i have bypassed the EGT today as a tester to see if a light comes on or not. Bypassed with a 2.2k .5 watt resistor. Fingers crossed.

 

Well, after a 25 mile trip, car ran crap, hesitant sluggish etc, took time to start on a warm start too . . . So EGT harness now back connected. Im going to run the EGT system on my de cat downpipe, a resistor is not variable wheras the probe is.

 

Won't the probe just get killed after a few miles?
