De cat downpipe Question.
Im going to buy a de cat downpipe, which will compliment my de cat up pipe ( when fitted ) and i already have a 2nd de cat. I know it wont pass the MOT etc, the EGT is getting bypassed, my question is - will the car still run ok or chuck up CEL's for the downpipe cat missing ? If yes, how do i get around it ?
P.S. i dont mind re fitting my standard downpipe once a year for the MOT.

My new up pipe has got a provision for the egt, but as the pre cat will no longer be present in the up pipe, the egt has no function to perform as it only there to safe guard the pre cat from over heating and breakdown which could damage the turbo impellers.
