All depends on setup, tyres, clutch, gearing, weight etc

Have you got a slip for the 12.5 run & what setup did you have to achieve this?

Ran 11.9 on a 400bhp blobeye sti with no launch control so your target of 11.8/12.0 are achievable

Don't be down Kas, it's not easy to be so brutal on the cars, you have to be a real ba5tard to do so. If i couldn't fix the car myself, i'd never treat it the way i do at the pod

Along with many factors the Clutch and tyres will be key..

My spec in my old Bugeye was simular to yours running a GT3076, but due to clutch issues (1000mile beaded in CG Motorsport). I couldnt get the ****** off the line neatly.... very disappointing day at 13.01 I think it was This was using the STI TMIC.

I never dragged the car after this with the FMIC, Headers and 20% meth map as the Grudgement days stopped the 1/4's before I sold the car, another disappointment

Im on my phone right now so cant tell (no 3G here), but I think this was it:

I`m in a similar position to the OP, Ran 12.4 in a JDM blob with 350bhp, no LC. Should be 430ish this year, and i`m hoping for 11`s, the way I see it:-

11.9/11.8 - Mission accomplished.
11.7/11.6 - Hell yeah!
11.5 or under - Crisp packet run?!?

As much as we can say you can get high 11's, it's all down to a number of things really. Tyres, suspension, temp, track temp, conditions etc

Just go out, see what you get and be happy with it

it's a lot harder than you think. get the sixty foot times down. that helps a lot. i found a 400hp car much easier to get off the line than my current 600hp car.

I agree. Only found out how hard it is when I actually went Pod for the first time.

A good launch is important along with a decent clutch + slicks. What was your setup at 400hp?

Don't get too hung up over slick's Kas. You will bog a lot more with slicks and would need to be brutal to get the best out of them
