Question EJ205 Vs EJ20G Differences

Hi All

I Dont know if this as been covered before But Could'nt find it on search...

I have got a Very sick EJ205 Bottom end but the Heads are Able to be Saved so Due to work load and Traffic Problems I have been able To Track Down A Good EJ20G Short Motor That i Will Be Rebuilding With New Shells And Rings..ect

Now The Only Difference A Can See Is The Piston Crowns Seem to have A Different "DISH" On Them and the Gearbox Bolt Pattern on The Block Seems To Be Missing a Few Bolt Holes but Will Line Up On The Box With The Rest..

Has Anyone Had Any Similar Issues With This..

A Have Had The Idea of Swapping internals out of one Block into the other but untill i Split the Block i Dont Know What Type The Crank is..i.e Centre Thrust or Rear Thrust..

Any Ideas..
