heating issue

Default heating issue

my 97 legacy is overheating very fast.
and the interior heating only blows out warm air somethimes,
theres 2 new steel head gaskets gone in
any help apreciated

Air lock ?
Was the heads checked for warping

Leave engine to idle with cap off header,until the cooling fans cut in assuming they are working. Any locks will normally find there way out,If this don't solve it You may have a sticky thermostat

If you can't do it as above, the ONLY way is to drain the coolant and refill S L O W L Y, through the pipes attached to the metal header tank, avoiding it gurgling. My Impreza took nearly half an hour to fill

got it sorted
drained the system,and refilled it really slowly,
took about half a hour to fill but heating works fine and it dosent overheat.
tanx for the help lads
