Default crank triggers on classics are they all the same

do they differ between early and later classics , ive just fitted a bottom end from a my00 into a my97 which had what i believe to be a very early cdb in it its had obviously had a previous engine change.

everything has been changed from the dead cdb onto the my00 unit its now refitted into the car but there is no spark,

is the crank triggers the same between the two engines ?

or any ideas on things to check if its not the trigger cogs im thinking

Default

crank and cam pulley triggers are the same on the classics - newage are different.
Double check all your connections again seeing as the engine has been apart.
