Help needed to remove MBC on my 2000 bugeye it's been over boosting and Im sure it's due to the controller brought the car in January the seller said he would take it off but didn't

My problem is I don't know what supposed to be there instead do I need to buy anything is it hard to do?

I think you just remove it & put a straight pipe in place. Not 100% sure though
