Default Blobeye de-tango & intake duct advice

Hi everyone, finally decided to detango my blobeye, I've had a good look around to forum and there's plenty of threads about people who have done it and I think it makes such a difference to the front of the car!

I've also noticed one or two who have modified one of the lights so that an intake duct is inside it, again I LOVE how aggressive this makes the car look!

However..

I have no idea where to start, I'm looking for as much advice as I can about doing this, how long it should take, what I'll need... Basically an idiots guide to modifying a headlight!

E_M_B's white blobeye has the lights that I'm after, I'm hoping you might be able to shed a bit of light for me.

Here's a link (hopefully) to E_M_B's thread: https://www.scoobynet.com/628617-wid...e-road-10.html

It shows the lights after it's been taken apart and in the stages of been cut and modified.

In the thread it says: "HID kit has been ordered, the headlamps have been modified to accept H4 dim/dip bulbs"

From what I can gather, the blobeye can't accept duel bulbs? What modifications were made so that it could?

Any help would be really appreciated.

To be honest, the putting of a duct in the headlight is a bit of a pain from what I have gathered. However, detango'ing is very easy.

To use the H4 bulb you have to modify the housing where the bulb sits, as it is a different shape.

I also had to get an auto electrician to modify the wiring and introduce a relay into the system as the way the car switches from lo beam to hi beam is different.

Detangoing the headlights is straight forward.

The duct is a bit of a headscratcher and takes a bit of time, as is the bulb arrangement.

Good luck.
