morning all
my 2002 wrx is just coming up to 10 years old
it has just turned 47k miles and is due a belt on age
it had its first belt in 2007 done by scoobyclinc when it had done 32k
the tensioner was replaced at the same time.
the car is garaged so not subjected to the worst of the weather.
my head says change it again
but what would you do

take to adam at t6 as he is based in stoke

Whats the going rate for belt and tensioners supply and fit ?

about three hours to swap the belt

What they quoted you mate ?

 

£150 inc vat for the belt swap
said they will inspect all the idlers to check for noise and play
but may just swap the whole lot still yet to decide

i can get staff discount at a local motor factor so will see.
having it serviced as well so another hour/£50 on top
