I just went out in my subaru wrx 2002 locked the car went in the garage, came out unlocked car with fob, then i put the key in the ignition the miles disappeared and it appeared the battery was dead, turned the key an nothing, waited a few minutes, the miles appeared again and the mileage counter had reset to 0.0, and the car started like normal, any ideas? loose connection to battery maybe?

 

Loose connection on battery or a bad earth connection somewhere.

 

i took the air con out today as was spraying the fascia, could i have knocked something possibly ?
