Default Turbo help

Ive recently fitted a larger tmic on my 2007 wrx , after smelling oil burning the other day I had a look under the bonnet and there is oil all over the y pipe and back of engine, the garage say this is due to crap pipes and that the car normally burns this oil, is this correct? I didn't think the turbo was meant to spit oil into the intercooler.

Any ideas as the car is still under warranty , and will get turbo replaced if knackered.

your car does breath some oil from block but that seems alot. i would check turbo seals then fit a oil catch can and see if that helps.
