Default TGV deletes.....what gains?

on a 04 wrx are there any gains to be had?
do i look for a manifold to swap over?
What do i look for,sti,jdm,spec c or a n other?
How long to swap manifolds?

I changed mine for a spec C, you will also need the fault code removing on the ecu

On a standard wrx engine there aren't any power gains from deleting the tgv's and fuel usage is more efficient off boost with them in place. If you start having problems with the valves sticking then that might be the time to consider deletes.
The best way is to source them off a Bug/Blobeye sti manifold and use your wrx manifold with tgv deletes from the sti. It would take a mechanic a few hours to do the work and you wouldn't see any gain.

i did mine while painting the wrx manifold wrinkle black,i removed flaps and shaft and tapped the holes so could fill holes with sealing washer and bolt . did i notice any difference...... probably not but least its one less sensor to fail :-) , cell will need turning off by mapper
