4 pot calipers anyone ?

Default 4 pot calipers anyone ?

hi

does anyone no if all the 4 pot front calipers are the same , or can you get more than one type . i,ve been told by my mechanic he's been sent the wrong subaru 4 pot caliper for my brothers impreza turbo .

thanks for any info

AFAIK, all the same FITTING.
Some have SUBARU in relief, others are blank.

he said the pads wont fit or something but i'm not sure , hes had the car 2 weeks tomorrow just to change clutch cam belt and mot (needing 3 tyres and front pads plus o/s front caliper now) which he said he been sent the wrong one but i thought they was all the same meaning all 4 pots are the same. now going to be early next week before we get car back .

They are all the same , the early ones have the word SUBARU cast into them , the later ones were a sticker , as Jeff was trying to say lol
If the garage are telling you any different , they are wrong

thankyou very much guys just as i thought i've been strung along for about a week now with excuse after excuse and just as i thought another one needless to say i wont be using him again over 2 weeks to do not even 2 days work , i just wish people would just tell you the truth some times
