Default Problems around 3k

Have done a search but not found an answer.

Have a uk turbo has a sports down Pipe then a blitz r spec. And a panel filter.

Other than that standard driving low revs no signs of problems but if I try to make it move it hesitates at 3000rpm then pulls through it and revs ok.

Cleaned throttle body out and looked for any split hoses and tried to clean boost solenoid.

But still continues to be the same and when below 3k you can here a whistle noise does any one have any ideas.

Thanks

Thats turbo lag mate lol.

From the description you have given thats what I would have said. The whistle is the turbo.

I wasn't refering to the 'normal turbo lag' that you get with these cars I meant an actual problem with the turbo itself. It sounds like it isn't spooling properly. If you had a front mount or if the turbo itself was damaged etc.

I know mate don't worry.

It wasn't really clear from what I said. It wasn't your fault.

Is there any way to check turbo other than feeling for play?

And is anyone has any data on what pressure I should have on each part.

Thanks
