about to buy a sti spoiler for my bugeye and the one i got on now isnt a genuine one and is fitted with 4 studs



this will prob be for sale

the one i am buying which i have been informed as 12 studs do the all bolt through or some of them do and the rest sit in lugs as ive just had a look under the boot and can feel rubber gromets behind the panel of the boot does anybody know dont fancy drilling

 

Sorry to hijack but where is the brake light on the spoiler you have in the picture? Is it on the top wing, as it is on mine and I haven't seen another one the same.

Thank you, I think this is the same spoiler I have. I didn't think it was genuine but I have no idea who makes it or where it came from!

i have taken the spoiler off and noticed only 4 holes on the boot and 2 blue plugged ones

 

You need to drill a few more holes for the genuine STi spoiler.......and perhaps get the boot tensioners from the STi so the bootlid stays open. Or try and get an STi bootlid

well my spoiler as arrived and it looks like i gona have to drill my boot unless some one has a wr blue sti boot near by im in manchester so whish me luck with the drilling

not trying to revive an old thread......but.....where can i get tensioners from, ive just bought a sti spolier for my wrx and cant see any on ebay

 

Put a thread up requesting STI bootlid tensioners/springs.

Got mine 2nd hand on here. Guy had a couple of pair.

 

Matt will have a pair, he breaks loads of STI's.
