Will fit ok but will need a remap and before this might as well fit a front mount and upgraded exhaust, air filter and possibly injectors. Think they give around 330-350bhp, will be on the limits of the gearbox clutch etc at this level though.

VF23/24/28/30/34/35/43/48 or SC36.

Any of these would do 300bhp and 300lbft, plenty enough to get you started.

nope lol vf are a different brand to td edit sorry you mean the higher numbers of the vf range no again, i think its more to do with the age of the turbo , 20s being the oldest, the sc (scoobyclinic) do go up in power increments

depends on what power you want ,how much money youve got and how risky you want to go with the box.

and turbo installs aren`t too bad but can be a pain in the **** if your nuts are tight

Ebay new ones for £299 not really good quality for that price range either get a used vf28 or vf35, or a td05 16g would come in cheaper used,

vf range will bolt straight on but to fit a td05 it will need the compressor housing changed or modded from top entry to front entry

To start with, bigger is not always better.
Also your car's reliability will come into question at some point, you cannot just bolt any old thing on there and get xxx bhp, your gearbox, clutch, engine will all suffer (and brakes) as they lose reliability.
You should aim around the 300-320bhp mark, keep it nice and simple and it wont cost you the earth (but even at these levels you may have issues with your clutch/gearbox and brakes).

If you buy a brand new turbo from ebay for £299, you'll become an expert at changing them, because you'll need to change it every week. Ideally you want to stick to a 16g or 18g these can be bought second hand for not a lot. Andy f and Harvey also supply these either standard or worked a bit.
