Ive just recently put together a new engine for a v3 sti, its had new bearings, new crank, heads skimmed, valves reseated, new gaskets all round and plugs, when the engines running on tick over it sounds like the camshaft is hitting a stuck valve and i feel its not running right. i took off the cam cover and turned the engine by hand and the cams are pushing on the valves as they should and the valves are returning, ive pushed on each valve to see if theres any play but the valve springs are doing there job, So any ideas what could be causing my ticking noise? the only other thing i can think of is a damaged ignition lead an the spark isnt reaching the plug, i thought i'd ask to see if theres anything else i can check before i put the cam cover back on
