Can you hear the pump? - you may require someone to stick their head under the bonnet for you

relay if not above could be pump test pump wires with meter or make a test light put wires into the pump plug if it lights up pump if not relay or even better a fuse.
Hope you get it sorted.

Got the headlights on? I'm sure they only work if they are.

More than likely your pump will be seized. Mine was the same when I bought it. Simple fix as long as it isn't too far gone. Just take out the washer bottle. Take out the big pump. It the one sat on the bottom of the bottle. When you get it off take off the top of the pump. It has two tabs of metal that fold back. Inside there is a shaft to turn, you'll probably need pliers if it is stuck. Give it some beans to free it off. Squirt with some grease. Put it all back together. That should do it. I don't think I missed anything out but it was 4 years since I did mine. Simple job though should take an hour if that.

Hi, yes the washer works whether lights are on or off as said above, just done mine.I pulled back the 3 tangs, removed the top, squirted some wd40 and rotated spindle with pliers.I have a spare car battery which I use to test stuff,so I placed pump in vice and connected wires to battery and yippee it not works lol

Just tested mine whilst sorting out some bulns, you are correct. Seems pointless though. I had another car where they only worked with headlights on.
