Hi guys, as above can i put v3 heads off a type r onto a 04 wrx, thinking about doing a 2.1 cdb build and dropping it into my wrx just wondered if it's possible to use v3 heads without issues, as i fancy a bit of bullet and future proofing as well as the wilder cams.

 

not sure bud but i think you can only interchange v1,2,3,4s between them selves after that the inlet port spacings are different im sure someone who definately knows will say otherwise bud

 

I have the inlet manifold off the v3 so would i be able to use this on the 04.

I haven't started stripping the v3 yet so still have all the parts.

 

The engine wiring loom would need modding, you would need side feed rails and injectors, the idle control valve is completely different. You would probably need an ecu like a Syvecs to make it work and they are not cheap.

 

2.1 into a Newage - good results to be had with small port AVCS heads.
