Valving/ tuning standard shocks?
I am just thinking about the standard bilsteins and was wondering if anyone services/ valves them for better performance? It just seems that with 40 mm inserts etc, that if you could tune them a little they would be better than coilovers?
By way of background, I had then as car was a wr classic, and now run BCs which are knocking, and looking around at other coilovers, it's very serious money for 40mm inserts a la bilsteins pss9- I'm happy enough with the ride height which can be managed with springs.
Car is used on road, track and for hill climbing
