I have been told there are three "trim" levels on this car, something to do with front limited slip diff/ rear tints + a few other bits, does anyone know if this is true and what the differences are? thanks in advance Paul

 

Not sure about bugs but on the blob there is a std sti without dccd and a gl spec with it, the only model without rear tints I think would be the spec c

 

Not on the MY01/02 cars there isnt, there is on the twin scroll MY03/04 cars (well you could say 4 for those really, plus a limited edition )

On the early JDM bugs which would be on a UK x reg there were 3 trim levels in japan offered in 2001

CL basic spec,rear wiper, no stereo,
EL adds Privacy glass
GL uprated front diff, privacy glass

There was an article in the Autocar impreza book with an x plated bug from David Hendry cars , i will dig it out when i can !

KL No front slippy diff , plain glass

EL no hid lights ,plain glass slippy diff

GL HIDS, privacy glass,slippy front diff
