need help please? tried everything to bleed cooling system, ive changed water pump, thermostat and rad, and still wont bleed up, cant get any hot air through the heaters, its really got me baffeled cheers wiggy

 

First i assume the heater matrix is connected and hasnt been bypast at some point? Id suggest disconnecting it and back flushing it with a hose pipe. The second is are the heater control operating correctly. Is the hot/cold switch actually doing anything?

 

yeh sorry if you let the car tick over for ages you get abit of heat then it goes cold again, hasnt been bypassed was working fine before, ive tried back flushing and there is water flow!

 

ive tried all the cheap options first im now thinking head gasket could i be right?

 

Are you doing all this with the header tank cap off or on?

 

ive tried both on, off combination of both,pipes off, bleeding different ways by filling block and radiator, ive read all the posts i can find on different forums and still cant make it work ( :@ ) i think im going to have to bit the bullet and send it to a garage
