Default PIAA blades make a sound at highest wipe setting?

got the 21" and 18" (driver/passenger), as part of the install i need to let it dry wipe but when wiping at highest speed, it makes a squeaking sound when the wiper is at its furthest position?

here is a video of the sound taken on my iphone4, first wipe is lowest, then medium then finally going to fastest: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xmw8bt_img-1124

Bosch blades all the way no noise at all think they are a softer wiping rubber.

You could try taking them off and soaking them in hot water that normally does the trick.

its weird that the sound only presents itself at the highest speeds, if it were a problem with wiper and/or arm, i would expect the noise to be there at every speed.

its sound like its hitting something but i can see what it is. the driving side's arm does come with a spoiler and i see no way to easily taking that if (incase thats the problem)

Sounds almost as though the blade/holder is catching on something at the point of direction change?

Check that at high speed the wiper isnt going off the edge of the screen or even clattering against the drivers side lip of the screen. The arm may need moving down a notch or two

Switch the wipers on full speed. Look at the drivers side wiper from outside the car. Is it hitting the edge of the screen! (door pilar). If it is put the wiper in the off/park position. Lift the cover up at the bottom of the arm. There will be a 12 or 13mm nut. Undo that pull the arm off the wiper spindle and then re-fit it so that the off/park possition is lower.

a week or so later and the sound has gone away, not sure what caused it and not sure what fixed it either!
