2 or 3 port boost solenoid

hi im relativly new to the world of scoobys, and i was wondering what are the advantages of having a 3 port boost solenoid on my car as opposed to a 2 port boost solenoid?

If you plan on having the car remapped then it gives the mapper more control over the boost.

If this is the route your going down then I have one if you want it. Removed as I had an AVCR fitted.
