Default Turbo timer

Can anyone please tell me if a turbo timer can be turned down?..It stays on for about 2 mins after the key is taken out,thanks

it depends if it is a unit mounted or if like mine built into the alarm system. if it is in a unit you can normaly adjust from say 30secs upto 180secs..

Its below where the key goes,and the other bloody stupid thing is does is when you get out,you have to lock the door with the key,or wait for ever then use the bleeper !! Is this normal ?

There should be some buttons on it to adjust the time.

Or just remove it. Remove the lower half of the dash, follow the TT wires and you'll see they tee into the loom. Remove the TT harness and push the original plugs together.

???????.....Sorry,I don't understand,I am thick as pig pooh when it comes to things like this,I will take a pic of it and wack it on tomoz,cheers
ps,can't be doing with waiting for it to go out then bleep the doors nor use the key

It's a modification that really isn't needed buddy. If you just drive nice and steady for the last half mile or so of your journey then there is no need to let your car tick over.

Stick some pictures up of the actual unit and we can see if it's adjustable or not.
Worst ways we can explain in detail on how to remove it. It's a very simple job to remove chap.

It's got got 3 buttons on it...auto1 auto2 and manu,I have tried all settings are they range from 3 minutes to 10 !! Got annoyed with it so just pressed the power button and turned it off ! Don't like the idea you have to wait to use the bleeper or lock the door with the key ! Stupid IMO.
Can't post a pic of it as it asks for the url ?

make and model mate any pic you can adjust almost all of them and i can lock as normal and walk away you should be able to do the same

you cant get a manual for that one in the uk lol think you hold down one of the butons and the othere's adjust the time

I have done that,I have it down from 100 to 10,but 10 is 10 mins lol !!!...Any idea how I can bleep the doors whilst it is still running?...I have done what the other chap said,I have turned it off and drive slower for the last half mile.

If the TT is turned off then you'll be able to bleep the doors locked as normal.
