Default Boost problem?2003 sti ppp.

Got my car out of the garage yesterday, let it warm up as i always do,then drove fine for few miles, but noticed the turbo didnt seem to be boosting as much, car has a lamco boost gauge fitted from factory, and with accelarator down in any gear it wouldnt go above 0.7 bar where i think if im right it should be 1.2bar where it normally goes to on the gauge?done some research on here and found it could be 1 of about 4 things?just wondered if anyone has had same problem with there car and could i fix it myself?any help would be appreciated.thanks

Had the same thing happen to me the other day on my03 jdm it turned out to be a gunked up boost solenoid. Cleaned it up with some brake cleaner and it's been fine. Hope this helps

My sons ppp'd STi did the same some years back, when he had it. Turned out that the restrictor in the pipe from the wastegate actuator was blocked.
