These guys might have what you are after but.....

I would imagine they would want to sell you the whole flap and not just the clip.

Really sorry to hear what happened but what speed did it break at? They say you should close them at 80kmh but I've accidently used mine up until 80mph and I've seen rallycars and track cars using them at speeds higher than this

I've been considering getting an engineering firm to knock up an alloy handle for mine because I'm worried about it snapping, that might be with investigating.

UM AROUND 100KM ISH BUT IT WAS PRETTY WINDY TODAY, ITS THE HINGED BIT AND THE PLASIC HAS BROKEN OFF WHICH KEEP THE LITTLE BAR THINGS IN, THE FLAPPY BIT FLEW OFF I THOUGHT I HAD LOST IT , BUT WAS STILL ATTACHED TO CAR, THO THE CLIP HAS DENTED ROOF FELT EVEN MORE OF A PLUM AS I HAD TO PULL IN AFTER OVER TAKING CLIO BOY TO LOOK FOR ME FLAP! WAS A RELIEF TO SEE IT ON THE CAR THO HAD VISIONS OF IT BEING SMOOSHED BY OTHER CARS. IT DOES SAY ON THE FLAP SUMMAT IN JAPANESE AND 80KM LOL. MY CAR IS STILL RESTRICTED AND IN KM SO DOESNT GO MUCH FASTER THAN 120KM BEFORE LIMITER CUTS IN. MY CAR WAS IMPORTED ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO AND EXCEPT FOR NEW EXHAUST HAS HAD NOTHING DONE TO IT AT ALL. IM STILL TRYING TO DECIDE IF I SHOULD PLAY WITH IT OR KEEP IT AS IT IS. AT MOMENT ITS SECURED BY A HAIR BOBBLE LOL. I WILL CALL ROUND TOMORROW SEE WHAT I CAN DO, I DONT REALLY WANNA BUY THE WHOLE FLAPPY BIT BUT IF THATS ONLY WAY I CAN FIX IT.... THANKS FOR ADVICE AND GL WISHES

ok firstly apologies for shouting in the last post! i have fessed up to hubby, i cannot fib for long and i was stressing too much!!

i have taken a couple pics of broken bit i think damage wise i got away fairly lightly as dink in roof is fairly small. I would be gutted if i had to buy a whole new flap for the sake of this clip, but i confess i have not called the places mentioned yet as my house phone went missing my bulldog pup hid it under the tree in the garden.... excuses excuses!!!! i know

i have a few more pics of but i will try cropping them first as this pic is silly huge!

oh dear im on a learning curve with all this at least lol.

Come on woman i've only been gone a few weeks and you've broken the car all ready.

I'm in the RAF and luckily only spend 8 to 12 weeks out here at a time but usually do between 4 to 6 months a year.
Thanks foy all the help and advice guys much appreciated, i hate it when things brake and go wrong when i'm away and can't do anything about it.

Cheers
