Wondering if someone can help me.
I need a wiring diagram for the ignition plug (the small black plug that feeds the the ignition barrel ).
Just need to know what colour wires do what, think there are 4 wires.
Car is a 97 STI3.

So it appears there is no earth going to the barrel.....

 

no,just ve +. from what i remember correctly there are 2 earth connections for the timer, one permanent & one switched through the hand brake switch.

if you have the diagram for the timer & want a hand give me a shout.
