Default COSWORTH ADK

Hi guys , this concerns the 2007-2008 cars , I'm referring to the air pump Wich sits between the strut & battery , I'm told this is for emission , now I know cosworth do a air pump delete kit for this application , can any one shed some light as to the benefit ov removing the pump , as I want it out my engine bay ASAP ... Regards

I remove the air pump system on all my car builds, its only there to fudge the cold start emissons, required by legislation, remove all the pipe work etc, you will be amazed how much it all weighs, & how much extra space it free's up.
There won't be any MOT problems, as it only runs for a few minutes during initial warm up, & any MOT is done when up to temp.

The cel codes will be deleted by your mapper, & get him to go & switch off the air system from the ecu.

Sorry misread it, no problems with running at all, just puts the engine light on.
