Default scooby wandering all over the place

Im having problems with the scooby i just bought.
If im driving down the motorwat it will wander off quite badly to the right then back to the left and goes on and on.
I thought it might habeen my front wishbone rear bush so replaced those but its still the same.
Is this a comon problem on scoobys? This is my first awd car so could it maybe need awd alignment ie. Camber castor tracking ? No tyres show any exess wear.

Impreza 2000 turbo awd.106k. Suspension feels fine and bouces as it should.no mods apart from 18" wheels. All tyres are the same brand cant remember which make they are but good tread on all 4.
I have checked the track rod ends. Im going to have a look at the steering rack tomorow but dont suspect it to be the problem

my impreza becomes loose and drifts around a little when braking from higher speeds, trailing arm bushes have been suggested, i wonder if you may be suffering amore extreme example of this?
