Default a question for the mappers and anyone that can help

hey folks ive got a 2003 sti with a md321t running syvecs
i dont believe it to be a ecu problem but here goes

in certain gears 4/5/6(i believe)as im goining up the rev range im getting some bounce back on the defi display which can alsi clearly heard

i know the defis misread so these figures are defi boost figures

it happens roughly at 1.7 bar the needle bounces from 1.7 bar to 1.9 as though its struggling to hold boost

i have to take my foot off the accelerator then back on and its fine and holds boost at 2.0 bar

can anyone help

cheers

steve

Compressor surge ?

My classic and newage both with MD321t's use to surge in higher gears when the revs were rising from low rpm
