Im wanting to know when running in what should realistic rev limit to keep under and i no to stay off boost also while running in is it safe to do constant speed on motorway as possibly get car back at some point this week and need to make a 500 mile round trip to scotland for a funeral at the weekend

I would be really greatful for any help.

Do exactly as the engine builder tells you to do. There are a few different methods for running in and you dont want to void any warranty you get with the engine.

yep, do as your engine builder says but you will find you dont have to be as gentle as you think, a bit of boost helps the rings bed in, i think my revs were set a 6k max
