Default Clutch life

How long should a clutch last>?

My car is modded and running 300bhp with 310 torque.

It is starting to slip in 5th, this is my second clutch in 5 years. I had done roughly 50,000 mile in this time. maybe more.

Its very difficult to put a life expectancy on a clutch. Depends ALOT on driving style and how the cars used.

5 years and 50k is ok. I did 70k on the o/e clutch at 330bhp

Oh i know it is a hard one as driving style, length of driving etc. Just seeing if this is normal on a scoob.

To be honest i'd rather go through clutches then gearboxes.

Cheers for replying.

the exedy pink box clutch and flywheel from lateral will withstand that power and be reliable aswell, dont stick another oe clutch in it,upgrade once and you wont get the problem again.
