Default ecuteck question

is it possible to remove the license from one ecu then insall in another.i.e upgrading a 53 wrx ecu to a sti ecu.any advise welcome.cheers guys.

Each individual ECU is licensed........sell the ECU the licence goes with it. Why do you want to stick an STi ECU in your WRX ??

cars now got sti engine and 6speed,fitting sti ecu to get the vvt workin.so can licence swap not be done then mate.

see your cars moved on a bit then, since your gearbox going after the remap, who is doing your engine work/swap

So you have the STi loom and other stuff to drive the AVCS, or are you re-wiring the TGV's ?
