Default Boost level??

Hi all,
Ive just picked up an import version 3 sti, with decat, and air filter. I was told it was standard apart from that, so should it run 1.3 bar boost and drop off slightly??
I have owned wrx before, and they boost cut really easlily, does this seem normal???
Thanks for the help guys

Octane booster aint worth sh!te, proven in various tests to be a complete waste of money. Some push octane by as little 0.1 points.

2nd that Booster , lots of it, , honest, fill it with V - Power and take it to a dyno, get the det cans on it and do a power run with AFR check. then u have no worries, MINES and all Jap ECU's can be mild to wild. Just get it checked out.

Agree the zerosports usually very agressive on timing.

Get it checked.

Re: Octane Booster - if you want to waste your money on booster everytime you fill up then go ahead. The result is an unknown increase some by as little as 0.1 ron. You still won't know if the engine is safe under load.

Waste of time, waste of money, and you end up in the same position as before.

Thanks guys, I need to sort a dyno run with a good tuner so that we can work out an action plan. Any suggestions fairly local to Hemel Hempstead in hertfordshire???? Or, I would be willing to travel if a good guy suggested
