Default vf30/35 combination

hi there, my vf35 gave up and i bought one of the brand new vf30 cores that were on ebay a while back. it included the compressor housing. all the info i can find says the vf30/35 differ only in exhaust housings.

so i put my vf35 exhaust housing on the new ihi core.

everything seems to slot together nicely. anyone know if this will work ok?

I thought vf30 was just a sleeve bearing but had same compressor and exhaust housing as vf35 so would have thought would be ok just maybe a fraction slower on spool

The VF30 has the same compressor housing as the vf 34/35,but has a bigger turbine than the vf35 with both turbos being sleeve bearing,so what you have done should be fine with no difference in spool up at all if assembled correctly.
