Default Headers (Engine Model Question)

Hi guys,

My Equal length headers are cracked and blah blah... So gonna order some more. The problem is, my car is off the road atm, And I have no idea what it is I need to order.

My car is a P reg 1997 SUBARU IMPREZA TURBO 2000 4WD (log book lol)
However at some point it had an STi engine in it (previous to me buying it) Is there any models numbers etc somewhere that can help me identify the correct year / headers I should be ordering?

The engine is GC8, coil pack is in the center (2 ht leads either side)... I believe its an STi 5 lump.

I've been looking at something like this :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-WRX...79349466212987

To tide me over until I can afford a nicer set - but it states 2001 - 2006 and that it also needs newage sti sump...

This :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Imp...47471779779178

however is identical in looks (minus the ceramic coating) yet they say 1992 - 2006

What should I get ?? Or is there something I can look at (easily) that will he me me identify what I should order...( I am obv. unable to lift the car and remove at my house otherwise I'd just take it off and look lol )

Many thanks in advance for any help.

There are a lot of cheap header sets on e-Bay that will reduce your performance, not improve it.
There are lots of cheap header sets which will crack in short time.
The flexi joint on header sets is a weak area prone to problems.
If you have a solid uppipe as opposed to a slip jointed uppipe the stresses within the header system are such that it will crack in time anyway.
Consider properly ported headers and matched uppipe all DEI heat wrapped £369. The tubular header option is expensive. GT2 headers £435 and uppipe to make them work £149.
