Used to have one many years ago when I bought my first impreza, first off all can you switch it off?

imo your best bet is to take to a subaru specialist to see if they can help,i did when I had mine removed.

No it's constantly on as the fella before wired it live thru ecu... I've traced the wires back but need wiring diagram to safely remove it without ruining anything else on it

Think you may be screwed as the only diagram there seems to be was on the PivotUSA website and that's long gone.

Workshop manuals here
https://www.scoobynet.com/technical-...d-updated.html
may help to identify what wires you should have and thereby help you eliminate the ones you shouldn't have.
