Default Compatable turbo

Hi All,
Can anybody please advise whether or not and 02 WRX turbo will fit directly onto a 98 classic (face lift version). Any advice would be much appriciated ...

However.. If your car is a V4 STi then you will need a remap as the turbos are different. I am pretty sure the 02 WRX has the TD04 & the MY98 UK Turbo also has a TD04.

Thanks for coming back on this one guys, the car I have is a standard UK turbo, and it does have a TD04 as is the one I'm considering. I was just a little concerned that with the MY diffference there may have been some changes that would make the transfer difficult .... i take it from your post that's not the case ?
As always, your help is appriciated ....

No mate it will bolt straight on,without any issues. I think there is a slight difference in the newage td04 turbo to the classic td04 turbo as it has a slightly bigger compressor wheel than the classic,but that if anything it should aid performance.
