Default subaru turbo 2000 intercooler pipe diameter for dump valve?

quick question, i am looking to buy a dump valve and was wondering what diameter and what the pipe is called that comes off the intercooler? what pipe i need 34mm, 30mm, 24mm? and what size is the re-circ pipe for the bung if i get a non-recirc? i have a turbo 2000 My98 standard intercooler..

thanks!

If your car has the intercoer that has an elbow that points to the left as it comes out of the intercooler , you do not need a separate pipe you simply secure your dumpvalve to the oe pipe by a jubilee clip, and put a bung back in your recirc pipework. I don't think it is 34 or 30 mm,as this is to big for the pipework on your STD recirc, easy to just measure the diameter of the pipework on your recirc. If you have a later 98 car where the recirc bolts on to the intercooler then the bung is 31 mm, iirc.

As said above you Will not gain any performance boost by fitting one whatsoever, only a noise which you may soon get fed up with imho.
