WRX PPP 2002 question
hi all - new member here
I have a 2002 WRX PPP wagon. I understand this should produce about 245bhp but the 2003 WRX PPP produces 265bhp.
There's a feature on this website where a guy bought the various parts of a PPP on ebay and did the conversion himself. For about 80 quid he bought a cable to connect the ECU to a laptop and then applied the PPP map from a 2003 PPP to his car (which was a 2002)
What I would like to know is can the map from the 2003 car be applied to the 2002 car (thus giving an extra 20bhp) or are there other physical differences between the 2 cars?

That's bad idea doing something like applied map from different car on yours, this can be costly at the end.
I would suggest in your area is few mappers like Neil@Slowboy racing(he's located near Brands Hatch) and Rich@FB Tuning(he is located near High Wycombe),both are reputable mappers here and can fit your parts as well.

If you get your PPP car remapped properly you should see more power than the 2003 version anyway without any other changes. I'm not sure but the Bugeye WRXs did have a cat in the up-pipe this may still be the case with the PPP cars as I'm not sure if they took it off or not.
