i think u will find that wagons have smaller turbos,as i have had a wagon and niow have a saloon,i think u will find that the wagon has a differant ecu aswell.if im right the wagons have a td04 turbo and a saloon has a td05 turbo and z4 ecu.

1995 wrx wagon was classed as a more of a tourer, and was detuned to 220ps,came with a different ecu and a td04 turbo as std. I have fitted 4x td05 turbos in the last 2 years to 3 x 1995 wrx wagons and 1 x 1994 wrx saloon auto, which all had td04 's on as std
Have got a Z4 ecu if your interested ?

a 1995 wrx wagon will have the samller td04 turbo unless someone has upgraded it to a td05 already. you will need a z4 ecu also.

I think all early wrx's & sti 's had grey injectors, till the phase I.5 , when 440's were fitted to the V4 sti . 440 injectors then became STD on 99/00(phase 2) cars.

If you opt for the td05 you have 2 plug & play ecu options.
1. You can go for a Z4 which may see you hit 0.9 bar boost & with supporting mods develop around 260 bhp. I have fitted 3 of these and a worthy upgrade over your STD ecu.
2. Opt for a 6K ecu , these are a little harder to find but deliver more boost than the Z4 and with good mods see 275 bhp.I fitted one of these 3 weeks ago after trying the other 2 ,car felt much stronger all round than the previous 2.
Failing that you could opt for an apexi fc with commander, but then your spending starts to increase dramatically compared to the other 2 options
