swapping x4 coils to coil pack???

Default swapping x4 coils to coil pack???

hi,
is it possible to swap the older classic coils that always break up, to the coil pack that sits on top of the engine with the ht leads?

Your best bet is to swap to newage coils, not very hard to do and the newage coils are very realiable

thanks but the thing is, i have a spare set of the coils that sit on the top of the inlet, ill try them first and see what happens, later ill get the newage coils, have you done it?

Yeah done the newage coils, never seen anyone convert to single coil and not even sure it can be done easily anyway

can it be done with a 99 coil pack, as that is what i have, the coil pack has 4 wires red, blue, yellow and black?

dont know the ins and outs

my classic ate coils and they aint cheap

dam right they aint cheap, ive found a thread on here about changing them to a 97/98 coil pack but can it be done to the 99 coils, there what i have spare in my shed?

saiklon from on here has a few posts on doing this got the parts to do it myself but not needed to yet.
