Default ECU swappability

I have a Z4 ECU in my WRX.

If i found, say a Z5 ECU from an RA,would that be any benefit to me/the car and would it be safe to use (assuming both are standard mappings inside etc)

what is the difference in the ECU`s from the same model/year of car, ie. from a Z4 to Z5 or a U6 i think it is etc ??

cheers

the z5 has different ignition timing, fueling, boost pressure and higher rev limit to z4
